Homeless Services
As a member of the local Continuum of Care, Partners to End Homelessness, Inc. (PTEH), the Mississippi Housing Partnership has a sincere interest in helping to reduce the homeless population. All of us deserve a decent place to live and call home. As a result, we view ourselves as one of many vehicles available to assist the city of Jackson with its 10-year plan to end chronic homelessness.
Utilizing some of our available units, we have already provided housing for some homeless individuals. However, such assistance is on a small scale as MHP wishes to expand its capacity to provide housing for homeless persons and families. This can be done through increased funding and by working through PTEH to expand transitional housing and bring permanent housing to the city.
